Las Vegas, NV – Four of the world's biggest wholesalers with a combined stable of more than 125 firearms, optics and ammunition brands have joined forces to form a sporting and outdoor alliance.
The International Sporting Goods Wholesalers alliance (ISGW) unites four industry leaders _ NIOA, Helmut Hofmann, Viking Arms and Outdoor Investment Holdings/Formalito _ to provide a sporting/outdoor collaboration with unparalleled representation and distribution for premium brands across key global markets.
The deal, announced at SHOT Show in Las Vegas, promises to bring a new era in the delivery and accessibility of world-class products to sporting shooters and hunters across three continents:
• Australian-owned NIOA Group will represent Australia, New Zealand, and re-distribution opportunities in that region.
• Helmut Hofmann will represent Germany and other countries throughout Europe.
• Outdoor Investment Holdings/Formalito will represent South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Mauritius, Angola, and Zambia.
• Viking Arms will continue to represent the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
The companies’ brands include household names such as Ruger, Barrett, Marlin, Leupold & Stevens, Remington, Federal Ammunition, Savage Arms and CCI.
ISGW says the new alliance will focus on “ensuring that products are not only available, but presented, promoted, and delivered with precision and professionalism” including:
